Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold, all together were broken in pieces, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, so that not a trace of them could be found. La estatua quedó reducida a pequeños trozos de hierro, barro, bronce, plata y oro. Luego el viento se los llevó sin dejar rastro alguno, como la paja cuando se trilla el grano. Sin embargo, la roca que derrumbó la estatua se convirtió en una gran montaña que cubrió toda la tierra.

Con ellos se hicieron añicos el hierro y el barro, junto con el bronce, la plata y el oro. La estatua se hizo polvo, como el que vuela en el verano cuando se trilla el trigo. El viento barrió con la estatua, y no quedó ni rastro de ella. En cambio, la roca que dio contra la estatua se convirtió en una montaña enorme que llenó toda la tierra.
